Today and your own to-do list
Waiting for you now opens with your day: your next meeting, your three next steps, and what you have already finished. Below it is a to-do list of your own. Every member of your organization has one, on both the nonprofit and the business line, at https://app.allinoneforprofit.com/waiting. The Today link under your organization's name in every app opens it.
What Today shows
Next meeting
The next event or board meeting on your organization's calendar that has not ended yet, with the time in Eastern time. When the meeting's location is a web address (Zoom, Google Meet, Teams or any other video room), a Join button opens it; Open takes you to the record it came from.
Three next steps
The three items that will hurt first, taken from your own list and, for the owner and admins, the organization's list of what is late, what needs a decision and what is coming due. Late items come first, then anything due today or marked High, then anything due inside seven days.
Done today
Everything you ticked off or approved since midnight, so the day has a shape by the afternoon.
Your own list
- Type the item in the box that reads Call the landlord, give it a date if it has one, pick Normal, High or Low, add a note if you like, and press Add to my list.
- Press Done when it is finished. Press Tomorrow to push it a day. The small × removes it.
- Done items stay under Done in the last 90 days, where Not done reopens one that was ticked by mistake.
Weekly routines
Choose Every Friday (or any day) in the box that reads Does not repeat and the item comes back every week on that day. The current week's copy shows as late once the day has passed, and the routine itself is listed under Weekly routines, where you can remove it.
Add to my list
Every row on the organization's list and every prepared draft has an Add to my list button. It copies the item onto your list with its date and a link back, so a thing the platform noticed becomes a dated commitment of yours.
Who sees what
Your list is yours. Each member sees only their own, and nobody else can read it. The organization's own list of what is late and what needs a decision stays with the owner and admins. The owner and admins can pick a person in the Assign to box when adding an item; it then appears on that person's Today, marked with who assigned it, and under Assigned to others on the owner's page. A view-only session can read the list but not change it.
Write an email
A contact in Contact Manager, a donor or customer in Donor Management, a member in Membership, and every prepared draft with an address on file carry a Write an email button. It opens a new message in your own email with the address and the text filled in, so replies stay in your mailbox and the platform never reads your mail. Choose what it opens, Gmail in the browser or My computer's email program, on https://www.allinoneforprofit.com/account/ under Your email.
